The booming growth of the IT sector has created innumerable opportunities for computer graduates and professionals. To be in tune with the times, the Integrated Master of Computer Applications (iMCA) programme of GLS University aims to create the foundation of computer applications and software for the graduates to cater to the need for human resources.
Integrated Course in MCA is a full time, 5 years (10 semesters) Programme. The programme syllabus educates and grooms students for their successful debut into Software Industry and also inspires them to start their own ventures with good business knowledge. This course enables the students to stay updated about the current advancements in technology as well as equips them with the required skills and knowledge to enter the industry and carve a niche for themselves.
iMCA is customized for aspirants aiming to make a bright and outstanding career in the field of computer applications. The syllabus follows the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) that trains students in contemporary subjects such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, IOT, Data Science, Python Applications, PHP and many more. By joining this course, the students would attain a sound theoretical foundation, an ability to analyze, conceptualize and design systems, and competency in modern software design and development tools.
Under the five-year integrated programme, on successful completion of three years, students are awarded BCA degree and on completion of fifth year MCA degree.
Integrated Course in MCA is a 10 semesters programme conducted over the period of 5 years. The duration of each semester is around 16 weeks. The course structure of iMCA blends theoretical and practical learning within the disciplines of Computer Science and Information Technology.
